Event Summary.

December 31. Tax returns, cleaning the apartment, putting together a bed for his daughter, writing his life's work, quitting smoking - Lars, a forty-nine-year-old multi-thinker and aspiring writer, actually wanted to use the gap between the years to finally do everything that had been going on in the last few decades remained the route. But the week in which everything could have been done - suddenly it is used up. The last day of the year has begun. The house is still messy. Life anyway. And when Lars approaches the first item on his to-do list, it feels as if he has to reinvent not only himself, but an entire world. Look forward to an entertaining reading from a funny, tragic and philosophical novel. Nele Pollatschek talks about chaos and the longing for order, about perfect children and imperfect parents, about love, small screws and great works. But above all, she talks about the difficulty of not putting off living until later.
