Event Summary.
Your self-confidence cannot be high enough. Life crises and strategies for overcoming them.
Anyone who sees Caro Matzko on television with Hannes Ringlstetter can hardly imagine that behind their quick-witted and easy-going mouth there is a highly sensitive personality. Life crises run through her biography. As a teenager she became anorexic - an act of rebellion. After the first successes on radio and television, burnout followed. But Caro Matzko faced her crises, underwent therapy and wrote a book about her experiences. She will report on eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorders, the influence of family, the outside world and social media, and on her journey to mental balance: The body is the reflection of the mental life. But the real battle zone is the head! And it is curable!
Caro(lin) Matzko was born in Ulm in 1979. She began presenting on radio while studying communication sciences, politics and sociology, then switched to television. She initially moderated youth programs and later health and science magazines. Since 2016 she has been the alter ego of the cabaret artist and musician Hannes Ringlstetter in various TV formats. In 2020 her book “Size Don’t Matter” was published together with the plus-size influencer Tanja Marfo.
